Niksen
This is the preaching performance of the fictional "Niksen" religion that I created. Inspired by the life style trend "niksen"(spending time doing nothing) in the Netherlands, I want to communicate the relationships among religion, ethics, capitalism, and productivity.
According to Max Weber, the spirit of capitalism was born in the protestant ethics. If it all started with a religion, why not finish the circle with another one?
